MEET THE TEAM
Has been in the security industry for many years. She has also been involved in Multiple Close Protection details throughout the UK and Europe. Been Head Door Supervisor as well as being on various response teams at festivals and Large events in UK.
She as also worked as security consultant throughout many UK venues and for many company's. She has worked as control manager for venues and has in- depth knowledge of working in the security industry as a female, and knowledge within the mental health sector, she specialises in searching and profiling.
She is also medically trained to a high level. She is an instructor in multiple compliance subjects, also delivering medical training and security qualifications and training to staff.
DAWN – MARIE LESH
Trainer / Assessor
Has over 15 years working in various disciplines throughout her career as a nvq apprenticeship assessor. Starting as a railway safety critical trainer and assessor and advancing to their quality assurance mentor and auditor.
After being made redundant she gained employment as an apprenticeship assessor delivering Providing Security Services apprenticeship to security dog handlers who were working towards their own career paths within the Private Security Industry (SIA). As well as well having extensive knowledge in other disciplines in auditing, food hygiene, HACCP and the delivery of the assessor and internal verifier awards. Working in a prison environment delivering construction courses to in mates who were due for release and actively seeking employment.
Has over 20 years as in the police force as a special constable gaining the rank of special sergeant on response dealing with all types of incidents and becoming a tutor constable for new special constable recruits.
11 years as a security drugs and firearms search dog handler, in a high-profile nightclub with her passive and proactive drugs and firearm search dogs in Bristol. Works closely with the enhanced search teams and the head door to deter the illegal entry of drugs and contraband. Having a high successful arrest rate with her dogs.
Recently becoming a National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) General Purpose Security dog instructor and is working towards her search dog instructor’s qualification. Dawn also carries out demonstrations to organised groups, schools and colleges on the theory of how a dog operates in the security world.
Dawn has the belief that anyone should have the same chances as herself to succeed and gain their lifetime goals. With Dawn’s help this is more than achievable.
has over ten years’ experience in Healthcare within the NHS Ambulance Service & Private Sector. Has extensive knowledge of working with adults and children who have a diagnosis of Mental Illnesses and Learning Disabilities in both in secure services and community settings with a wide range of challenging behaviours and illnesses.
During his time within Forensic Healthcare Services he has attended numerous courses, workshops and seminars which have enable him to facilitate group work and individual sessions with patients, such as Stop and Think, Substance Misuse and Addictive Behaviours. Andrew is a advanced instructor in physical intervention & mechanical restraint delivering a vast range of courses throughout the UK and Spain.
Andrew has also gained experience within the Private Security Industry working his way to Head Doorman in Nottingham, over the years worked at various venues and clubs, large and small events, festivals and sporting events with roles including response team, eviction team and gate supervisor.
Andrew has worked with the Dorset Constabulary gaining valuable experience of working with Mentally Disordered Offenders and the Criminal Justice System whilst serving in the British Army, his tours of duty include multiple theatres around the world.
Throughout his career Andrew has participated in many developments which have broadened his knowledge and skills base.
